| Interlocutors condole killings | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Feb 24: New Delhi’s nominated interlocutors on Jammu Kashmir today called on a Sopore family whose two members were allegedly killed by militants last month. They also visited the family of the youth who was shot dead by security men at Hndwara earlier this month.
The team of interlocutors led by veteran scribe, Dileep Padgoanker expressed sympathy with the family of Arifa and Akhter at Sopore. The duo was abducted by suspected militants of Lashker-e-Toiba and shot dead subsequently on January 31.
The interlocutors also visited the residence of Manzoor Ahmad Magray, a youth who was killed in army firing during an ambush operation on February 5 at Chogul in Handwara area of Kupwara district.
The interlocutors arrived here yesterday from Jammu. The interlocutors are scheduled to address a press conference on Saturday.
