| DB declares BC Road as Commercial Area | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Feb-24 :- The High Court today declared BC road as commercial area. A Division Bench comprising Chief Justice Dr. Afatb H Saikia and Justice Mansoor Ahmed Mir of in an appeal filed Jammu Municipal Corporation against the judgment of Single Judge, has upheld the judgment of Writ Court and also referred a judgment of the court dated April 22, 2006 whereby the Court categorically held that BC Road Area by the side of which the plot in question situated was declared to be a commercial area under the New Master Plan.
The court after haring the parties observed that having regard to the Judicial Decision as well as upon careful consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case in its totality, find no plausible or cogent reason to demolish the concurrent findings of the writ Court as well as the Special Tribunal and dismissed the appeal filed by Jammu Municipal Corporation.
