| Sadhu found murdered inside Hanuman temple | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 25: A sadhu was today found murdered inside a Hanuman temple at Sundrani near Rehambal in Udhampur.People had not seen Baba Ram Prasad at Sundrani since Tuesday last. While making searches for him today, they found him lying murdered
inside the temple which was locked from inside, police sources said.After some villagers brought the matter to the notice of Rehmbal police station, cops rushed to Sundrani and entered the temple by breaking the doors open, the sources added.
A FSL team and a dog squad were also pressed into service. After examining the spot and picking some evidence, cops evacuated the body to the hospital mortuary for post-mortem.Sources said the sadhu had a deep injury on the head. Originally a
resident of Bihar, he had been the temple priest for the past 30 years.
Police also seized two pairs of blood-stained chappals from outside the temple.
Two youth, who had been staying with the sadhu, were said to be missing. Police did not rule out the possibility of their involvement in the murder.
Sources said during the course of investigation, police had picked up three suspects from the village. Their questioning was on, the sources added.
