| 100 kg of illicit liquor destroyed in Udhampur | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, February 25: To curb and eradicate illicit distillation of the liquor, the officials of the excise Department from sub-excise range Udhampur conducted raids in various villages including Thathali and Moungri.
During the course of raids one man namely Parma Nand S/o Moti Ram caste Bhagat and Timbu W/o Krishan Lal caste Bhagat both R/o village Thathali, Udhmapur were found in possession of one bottle each of illicit liquor.
About 100 kg of Lahan were recovered from the state land in village Moungri which were destroyed on spot.
This raid was conducted by Gopal Kumar, Inspector Sub-Excise Range Udhampur under the supervision of N.R.Moghal Excise & Taxation Officer, Doda-Udhampur Excise Range along with Excise staff of Sub-Excise Range Udhampur.
