Agri minister hails JK Bank | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, Feb 25: Jammu and Kashmir Bank today informed scores of unemployed youth about the various schemes, which the bank has devised for their economic empowerment during the employment fair organized by District administration Kunzar at Higher Secondary School Kunzar. Minister for Agriculture Ghulam Hassan Mir inaugurated the fair that was attended by a large gathering of people mostly local youth. He advised the unemployed youth of the area to take the initiative and avail the benefits of relevant schemes and products devised for their economic well-being by the J&K Bank. The minister, who was accompanied by the District Development Commissioner of Baramulla, Bashir Ahmad Bhat, visited the J&K Bank stall and he was delighted to see the staff of the bank educating the people about various schemes of the bank tailored for different customer segments. J&K Bank Cluster Head Ghulam Rasool and Branch Head Kunzar, Aijaz Ahmad Bhat gave detailed account of the schemes and services offered by the bank to its customers. Addressing the youth on the occasion, J&K Bank Cluster Head Ghulam Rasool Hakim gave a detailed overview of bank’s recently adopted Seed Capital Fund Scheme that has been specially devised under Sher-e-Kashmir Employment and Welfare Programme for Youth (SKEWPY). He also apprised the visitors about special schemes devised by the bank for artisan community and farmers. He exhorted youth to come forward with viable projects and assured them of full financial support from the Bank. The scheme, he said, is available at all the Business Units of the bank.
