| 457 lecturers promoted as senior lecturers | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 25: With constant efforts of the cadre, we succeeded in achieving the goal of placement of 457 lecturers to the rank of senior lecturers in school education department.
This was stated by state president of All J&K plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum H.D Qureshi while addressing a press conference here today. Qureshi said that with the release of orders for placement of Lecturers to the rank of senior lecturers the further channels of elevation have been which were otherwise blocked since 2006 onwards.
Qureshi on the occasion congratulated lecturers for the landmark achievements and termed it as the outcome of constant struggle with unity that enabled the cadre to remove blockades in the way of further elevation. Qureshi elaborated that with the construction of Gazetted recruitment rules through SRO 481, cadre has achieved major victory.
Others who spoke on the occasion include Charan Dass and Manmeet Bali Vice Presidents, N.S Jamwal General Secretary, Ashwani Sharma Chief Organiser and B.D Sharma District President Jammu besides Kiranjeet and O.P.Katoch both coordinators
