| BJP leader inaugurates repair, renovation work | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 25: BJP leader and MLA Jammu (West) Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta today inaugurated repair and renovation work of Government Girls Higher Secondary (GGHS) Nawabad.
MLA was accompanied by SE PWD P L Bhushan, AEE PWD Rajesh Gupta, Anil Gupta vice president BJP and senior staff members of the school. Speaking on the occasion, Chaman Lal Gupta informed that building of Nowabad School conducted long back provides secondary education to girl students of Talab Tillo area.
He added that the repairing and renovation of the building is in progress at a cost of Rs.8.65 lacs against which Rs.5 lacs stands released. Gupta said that he is committed for equitable and overall development of his constituency.
He added that improvement of educational infrastructure in educational institutions of his constituency is on his priority keeping in view of present educational scenario of State in general and nation in particular. He assured fullest support to each and every educational institution of his constituency in terms of infrastructure and quality education.
Among others who were present on the occasion included Ayodhya Gupta, Munish Khajuria, Parshant Puri, Puran Sharma, Ashok Gupta and others.
