| Labourer burns himself to death | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 26: A labourer today allegedly committed suicide by burning himself to death at his residence at Rohi Morh, Gadi Garh, near here.
Quoting family members, police sources said Swaran Singh (55) of
Rohi Morh as usual got up early in the morning to get ready for the market where he worked as a labourer.
After getting ready, he doused himself with kerosene oil and set himself afire. Hearing his cries, his family members rushed to his rescue and extinguished the fire.
They later evacuated him to the GMC hospital where he died. He had sustained 100 per cent burns, the sources added.
Police had registered a case in this connection.
