| Installation of Stone-Crusher Challenged HC ordered status-quo | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Feb-26 :- The High Court has stayed installation of a stone crusher near a primary School in Kishtwar.
In a petition against installation of stone crusher by Faheen Saroori s/o Ghulam Mohd r/o Kishtwar without any proper permission near the primary school, Justice Sunil Hali issued notice to State of J&K through Commissioner/ Secretary Forest, Commissioner/ Secretary Industries & Commerce, J&K Pollution Control Board through its Chairman/ Secretary, Director Pollution control Board Jammu, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar and Private respondent and private respondent Faheen Saroori returnable within four weeks. Advocate CS Gupta appearing for the petitioner submitted that Stone Crusher is being installed Faheen Saroori without obtaining NOCs from the Pollution Control Board and placed on record order issued by the Member-Secretary of the Board.
The court after hearing the Advocate CS Gupta for the petitioner ordered that in the meanwhile subject to objections by the other side and till the next date of hearing Status-Quo as it exists shall be maintained. JNF
