| Symposium, poster, painting on ‘Biodiversity Conservation’ held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Feb 26: Govt. High School Langer in collaboration with “NTSHI” organized a General Public meeting on symposium poster/painting at Govt. High School Langer,Nowshera on theme “Biodiversity Conservation”.
SDPO Nowshera Girdhari Lal Sharma was present on the occasion. NTSHI Society has been registered by WWF to implement this project in tehsil Nowshera along with different eco-clubs in which GHS Langer is one of them.
The Programme started with the Environment friendly speech of SDPO Nowshera ,followed by one by Sunil Kumar which emphasis on theme “Say no to Polythene bag”.
Also ten students delivered topics on the burning issue of Global Warming,Environment versus Politics etc.
Headmaster High School Langer Rattan Lal thanked NTSHI Society for its support in making this event as successful one. The winner, and two runners up were announced The Prizes will be given to them on the eve of valedictory function of National Environment Awareness Campaign.. Resource person from Sericulture Department Nowshera.Satpal also present on the occasion.
