Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 26: Rajouri Unit of Employees Joint Act Committee (EJAC) today held a protest demonstration in the premises of District Development Commissioner’s office. In a handout issued here today, it has been stated that government employees belonging to Health, Education, Irrigation, PHE, Power Development, Revenue, Forest, Sheep Husbandry, Rural Development, Accounts, Agriculture Horticulture and Social Forestry raised slogans against the state government. Employees were led by District President of the committee Karamat Malik. They raised demand for release of 6th Pay Commission arrears, 10 percent DA from July 2010, enhancement of retirement age from 58 to 60 years change of designation of helpers and payment of pending wages of daily wagers, RET’s, EV’s, Anganwadi Workers, Community Participation Workers beside their regularization. Members raised slogans in support of their demands and criticized state government for applying delaying tactics. Prominent among speakers included Baji Iitaf Hussain Shah, Aftab Dar, Mohd Amin, Badar Hussain Mailk, Mohd Aslam, Anwar Chowdhary, Bashir Mirza, Mohinder Singh, Manzoor Dar, Iftkhar Maik, Sadiq Chib, Munshi Khan and Bakshi and others.
