| ‘Save the earth’ gathers appreciative response | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 26: Heritage School today celebrated Annual at Abhinav Theatre, Jammu. Director School Education Jammu, Gulzar Ahmed Qureshi was the Chief Guest and Brig. Thomas George , DDG NCC J&K the Guest of Honour on the occasion.
The impressive show received a thunderous applause from the appreciative audience.
The programme begin with the lighting of traditional lamp by the chief guest on the occasion which was followed by welcome address was presented by Chandra Upadhaya , AHM. A colourful programme based on the theme ‘Save the Earth ‘ was presented by the students of class – I and II who artistically projected the bounties of nature and their role in sustaining life on this planet. The impressive show received a thunderous applause from the appreciative audience.
The Chief Guest gave away prizes to the outstanding students who distinguished themselves in scholastic and co-scholastic activities during the session.
The Chief Guest, while appreciating the efforts of the students, staff and management congratulated the school for choosing a burning issue of the day which has set whole globe thinking.
While presenting the vote of thanks, the Principal Sangiv Asthana assured the esteemed parents that the tradition of achieving excellence would gain further impetus and new bench mark would be set in future.
