| ABGM condemns attitude of govt. | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 26: Jammu and Kashmir Akhil Bhartiya Gujjar Mahasabha ( ABGM) has condemned the attitude of the government towards the Schedule Tribe community during the recruitment in police department.
Addressing a press conference, Mahasabha state president Ishfaq-Ur-Rehman Poswal said that the government will have to take every sincere effort to do justice with the community when constitutional safe guards have already been laid for such recruitments whether in police department or in any other department.
Poswal appealed to the Chief Minister to address the grievances tribal community who have been denied their rights by the successive government despite the fact that they have always looked towards the administration to ensure that their rights are not trampled.
He warned to start agitation if their demands are not met and they are denied their due constitutional right to seek employment.
