J&K crown of India : BJP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Feb 27: BJP State President Shamsher Singh Manhas, while addressing the concluding session of 3-day “Parvesh Prashikshan Varg” at Jammu, said that our cadre is disciplined, dedicated and committed towards the nation. He said J&K is the crown of mother India and each one of us is a true ‘sipahi’, who have been working day and night to strengthen the nationalist forces and defeat the nefarious designs of all such forces which pose threat to the unity and integrity of the country. Re-iterating that “integration” and ending “discrimination” with Jammu and Ladakh are among the prominent issues in party agenda, Manhas said that right from the days of Praja Parishad our activists have been agitating for abrogation of Article 370. He said that high claims of ending discrimination are misleading and the fact is that glaring examples of discrimination appear every now and then. Making repeated attempts to tarnish the image of security forces and demanding their withdrawal by Kashmir-based regional political parties, Manhas reminded them that it was the timely deployment of army and para-military forces in early nineties which restored the faith of the common people. He said that the coming days will be of more challenges as the Congress-led UPA and NC-Congress coalition in the state are working in unison to appease the separatists and anti-national elements as it seems that the UPA may use the interlocutors to recommend what suits to those who demand autonomy, self-rule, azadi or pre-1953 position. Member National Executive Dr Nirmal Singh, who was Examination Incharge of the Varg, told that after three days of intense sessions, a written test was conducted and all the appearing activists secured good marks, which itself prove that every one paid proper attention towards what was taught and briefed.
