| Minor sodomised at Marmat, people protest | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 27 : People today protested at Marmat in Doda after a 6th class student was allegedly sodomised by an amy subedar. Police sources said Shaheen Ahmed Wani, son of Nissar Ahmed Wani of Marmat, was playing in the village periphery when an army subedar allegedly sodomised him.
Reaching home, Shaheen, a 6th class student, narratedthe incident to his parents, who then lodged a complaint with police, the sources added. The incident sparked off strong resentment in the area with people holding a demonstration and demanding action against the accused.
Police had registered a case in this connection.
