APPCC Bhaderwah demanded filling of vacant posts at SDH

Bhaderwah, March 01: A protest demonstration was taken out by the people of the Bhaderwah town against the vacant posts of the specialists in the SDH Bhaderwah. The protest held under the banner of All Political Parties Co-ordination Committee Bhaderwah which included BJP, BSP, JDS, JKNPP, CPI, VHP, PDP, RSS lashed upon the health minister, Sham Lal Sharma for failure on all fronts to fill all the vacant posts of the doctors at SDH.

The demonstrators claimed that many patients have died because of this. Hundreds of people and workers of various political parties took out a huge procession which passed through various city markets and culminated at historical; Sari Bazaar. Even the protesting crowd burnt the effigy of the Home Minister.

Speaking on the occasion, various speakers including Koshal Kotwal of BJP leader, Hafeez Wani of BSP, Desh Raj Manhas of CPI, Satish Kotwal of VHP, Advocate Manjeet Razdan , Satish Sharma of JDS ,Mohd Iqbal JKNPP and other strongly
criticized the Health Minister for failure on all fronts to mitigate the problems of the Bhaderwah people.

The post of the Physician and Surgeon are vacant in Bhaderwah for the last 23 months .Speakers said that at SDH about 29 posts of the doctors are vacant and instead
of submitting dozens of representations to minister not a single vacant post was fulfilled which is shame on the part of the minister

Speakers also lashed heavily on MLA Bhaderwah Mohd Sharief Naiz and MLC Naresh Kumar Gupta for not raising this issue in the Assembly and demanded their resignation too.

They also informed that if all pots are not full filled they will launch a “Pad” Yatra from Bhaderwah to Jammu.

It is pertinent to mention here that last month a five years boy died at SDH Bhaderwah due to non availability of the Physician specialist.
