Jalmeria demanded release of Qyum on health grounds

Jammu, March 01: Hari Chand Jalmeria Advocate General Secretary & spokesman J&K NPP, who met the detained president of Kashmir Bar Mr. Abdul Qyum in Central Jail Kot Bhalwal Jammu to know his state of health, has demanded his release on health grounds.
Qyum told Jalmeria that he is suffering from various ailments including prostate, kidney, leg & arm movement, piles etc. Qyum is behind the bars for about 8 months and has not been released by the government despite court orders.
Qyum is a senior practicing lawyer in the Srinagar wing of J&K High Court and has been president of Kashmir Bar for considerable period.

Jalmeria expressed his sympathy with Qyum on humanitarian and professional brotherhood grounds.
Jalmeria impressed upon the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to show his magnanimity and also respect to the senior and ailing leader of Kashmir Bar and release him (including Secretary) so that he can take care of his health as per his wishes.
