Power shut down

JAMMU, MARCH 01- To complete the balance work of the erection of tower and associated stringing of 200 KV S/C Gladni-Udhampur Transmission Line at Dalah Udhampur by Transmission Line Construction Division-I, Jammu, the shut down of 33 KV Devik Feeder & 33 KV Army Feeder emanating from 220/132/33 KV Grid Station Udhampur on March 4 & 5, 2011 from 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. has been approved.
According to Superintending Engineer, Maintt. & R.E. Circle-III, Batote, the shut down is subjected to fair weather condition.
Meanwhile, to carry out the erection work of location No. 132 of under construction 220 KV Glandni Udhampur transmission line and stringing of the transmission line, the shut down of Udhampur-Jhajjar Kotli section of 132KV Udhampur-Jhajjar-Kotli-Janipur transmission line for 5 days w.e.f March 3 to 7, 2011 is allowed.
An intimated by the Chief Minister, System and Operation Wing Jammu, the power supply to Jhajjar-Kotli Grid station shall be fed from Janipur Grid Station, the power supply shall not be affected.
The shut down is subjected to fair weather condition.
