JAMMU, Mar 01:
A CID cop was killed and another wounded critically when their motorcycle was hit by a speeding bus at Nagrota near here today.
Police sources said CID cop Avtar Singh of Purkhoo and his colleague Dilip Kumar were going on their motorcycle when a bus hit them at Nagrota, resulting in critical injuries to them.They were admitted by police to the GMC hospital where Avtar was pronounced brought dead by the doctors, while the condition of Dilip was stated to be critical.Though police had seized the bus, its driver was absconding. Police
had registered a case in this connection.
