| KV employee hangs himself to death | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 01: An employee of Gandhi Nagar branch of Kendriya Vidyalaya allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself to death at his residence at Sucheni in Vijaypur near here today.
Quoting family members, police sources said Ravinder Singh, son of Pritam Singh of Sucheni, went to his room after dinner last night.
However, when he did not get up till late this morning, someone from the family went to his room and found him hanging from the ceiling fan hook, the sources added.
The family then brought the matter to the notice of police. Sources said cops soon reached the spot and evacuated the body to the hospital mortuary where post-mortem was conducted on it.The body was later handed over to his family members for last rites.
A suicide note was also recovered from his room.
Police had registered a case in this connection.
