| BSF, Rangers hold flag meeting on IB | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 02: To discuss various matters, including flood lighting of the international border (IB) on this side, BSF Tuesday held a flag meeting with the Pak Rangers.
The meeting took place on zero line between Peeli Post of Pakistan and Octroi outpost of India in R S Pura sector Tuesday.
Various border-related issues, including objections to flood lighting work done by the BSF and border coordination, were discussed during the meeting, official sources said.
The BSF team was led by DIG, C Vasudev and DIG, S K Singh, while Brigadier Masood and sector commander Zulfikar Ali headed the team of Rangers.
The Rangers had raised objections and tried to disrupt work on installation of flood lights along the fencing on IB last week.
The issue was now sorted out and work had been resumed on flood lighting of the borders by BSF.
