KATHUA, Mar 3: Kathua unit of Pradesh Congress Committee has congratulated Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for announcing holding of Panchayat elections in J&K without any political interference.
While addressing a press conference, MLC and district president of JKPCC Subash Gupta and state secretary Manohar Singh said that Panchayat elections are being held to strengthen democratic values and justice on the basis of equality among the grassroot level people. Others who were present during the press conference included Master Lal Chand, Naresh Sharma, Advocate Sushil Gupta, Pawan Sharma, S. Ravinder Singh, Advocate Subash Sharma, Pankaj Sharma and Aradhana Andotra.
