10th class student impersonates 8th class student, absconds | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, March 03 : In a case of impersonation, a 10th class student was Wednesday found taking science paper of an eighth class student in Manjakote area of Rajouri. Police sources said 8th class student Parvez Ahmad, son of Mohammad Shabir of Kakora, Manjakote, was to take his papers at government middle school, Kanal Gali. As he was closely related to school headmaster Abdul Rashid, the latter allegedly allowed 10th class student Sher Khan, son of Abdul Shakoor of Kakora, to sit in his place in the examination so that he scored good marks. The headmaster was also alleged to have replaced Parvez's photos on the examination slip and the form with those of Sher Khan's, the sources added. The matter, however, got exposed when a flying squad team from Kakora found that Sher Khan was a student of 10th class in their school. Sources said before Khan could be caught, he fled the examination hall. A case in this connection was registered at the Manjakote police station. Sources said apart from the two students, the headmaster was also likely to be booked in the case by police.
