| Northern Command Eagles organized symposium | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, March 4: A symposium-cum-exhibition titled North Tech - 2011 was organised under the aegis of HQ Northern Command at Udhampur by Northern Command Eagles on 04 Mar 2011.
The aim of the event was to provide the users, maintenance agencies and the civil strata an opportunity to exhibit their innovations and technical products at a common platform. that would help the maintenance agencies in reducing time for diagnosis and repair while improving quality of repairs.
North Tech - 2011 was inaugurated by Lt Gen KT Paranoid, UYSM, YSM, GOC-in-C Northern command on 04 Mar 2011.
In his inaugural address the General officer emphasized on the need for all personnel to have mental mobility, spirit of innovation and out of box thinking in the present era of technology transition so as to effectively combine them with operational concepts for a proportional increase in combat potential and military effectiveness.
The event was witnessed by a cross section of senior and junior officers from the field army. Lt Gen IJ Singh, AVSM, VSM, DGEME & Senior Col Commandant of Corps of EME also graced the occasion and evinced keen interest in the proceedings of the symposium.
