| Vodafone, AVP interacts with MIET students | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 4: A Guest Lecture on ‘Telecom Industry – Opportunities & Challenges’ was organized for the MBA and Engineering students at the Model Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kot Bhalwal, the other day under Meet the Leaders series.
Rakesh Shalla, AVP-Operations, Vodafone Jammu along with Vivek Wadhera, Relationship Manager and Naveen Singh, Regional Head Vodafone, delivered the lecture.
Rakesh attracted the mind and attention of students by his most informative, interactive, driving and motivational style of presentation and thus enlightened the students on the opportunities in the Telecom sector, challenges faced in the competitive environments and customized brand management in the corporate world.
The event was attended by the MBA and final year Engineering students and faculty members of the Management Studies Department. Prof Brig PN Sharma, HOD, Management Studies welcomed the guests on the occasion.
Prof SK Sharma, Principal MIET and Prof Ankur Gupta, Joint Director MIET expressed satisfaction over the proceedings and exhorted on the students to seek inspiration from Shalla’s dynamic style and prepare well for success in the telecom industry, which is undergoing large-scale changes and reform. Pankaj Sharma, HR Manager, MIER Group was instrumental in organizing this event.
