JAMMU, March 04: The independent agency of National Anti Doping Agency (NADA) has sent at least 50 `suspected’ Dope samples, taken from athletes participating in the ongoing 59th All India Police Games (Wrestling Cluster) at different venues, here today for testing and results thereof.
“During the first three-day of random checking at different venues, samples were collected from suspected athletes and at least 50 of them have been sent to National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL) at Delhi for verification,” informed Project Officer of NADA, Dr BJ Verma.
Adding he said, “It requires at least a week to get the reports from NDTL. Any athlete found in the influence of banned drugs, he/she will be banned for a minimum of two years and a maximum of life time ban on his sports career.”
