Rs 107 cr to establish 5519 IGUs

SRINAGAR, Mar 4: Under the Credit Action Plan (CAP), an amount of Rs 107.53 crore has been advanced to people for setting up Income Generating Units (IGUs) in north Kashmir district of Baramulla.
An official spokesman said here today that the amount was given by various banks under CAP upto December this fiscal, making an achievement of 36.35 per cent of the target.
He said Rs 34.23 crore were advanced under agriculture sector, Rs 37.11 crore under small scale enterprises and Rs 36.18 crore under service sector.
As many as 102 Self Help Groups were also set up in the district during the period.
