| Annual sports day celebrated | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU: Bachpan, a playway school, celebrated its annual sports day here today.
District Commissioner, Jammu Sanjeev Verma was the chief guest.
The function started with the lighting of the traditional lamp and seting airfilled balloons free by the chief guest. Director of Bachpan Yudhvir Sethi was the guest of honour.
The kids participated in various games such as balls in the basket, Running in disguise, Puppetries, Sack race, Matka race, Pick and run folding napkins, Musical chairs. Even the parents were excited to see the young toddlers moving on their feet.
In his address, the chief guest Sanjeev Verma said imparting knowledge to kids is an art but parents should not only think that child should be good in academics, rather his overall development is also necessary. Principal Priya Sethi presented her annual report and future aspects of the school. Prominent people present on this occasion were Vipin Sharma, Principal of Vidhyapeeth, Rajinder Singh, Ravinder Singh, Anil Masoom.
