| Bar body holds interactive session on legal profession | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 5: Bar Association, Jammu organised an interactive session in the High Court Complex with the active participation of members of Y.L.A on “Legal Profession- In the Perspective of Administration of Justice”. The interactive session was held by Justice J.P. Singh. He interacted at length on various aspects of civil and criminal laws. He educated the young lawyers about the manner of conducting the cases in the High Court and the subordinate courts. He urged the lawyers to keep themselves abreast of the laws governing the facts of their briefs so as to facilitate the courts towards better dispensation of justice. Interactive session by way of question and answers lasted for more than two hours.
The lawyers H.C. Jhalmereia, Sindhu Sharma, Pawan Dev Singh, Pooja Raina, Monika Kohli Z.S Wattali, Diwakar Sharma, Amit Gupta Himanshu Beotra interacted and sought clarification viz-a-viz their querries concerning the subject.
Bar Association, Jammu expressed its gratitude to Justice J.P Singh for sparing his valuable time in educating the members of the Bar Association during the interactive session.
More than two hundred lawyers attended the session including office bearers M.U. Salaria ( Vice President) Parmoksh Seth, Jt Secretary, Sandeepa Sambyal (Treasurer) and Rohan Nanda ( President, YLA). The Session was presided over by B.S Slathia President Bar Association and whereupon the vote of thanks was delivered by Vikram Sharma, General Secretary Bar Association, Jammu.
