EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Mar 5: To carry out the work for erection of poles and stringing of conductor including laying of underground cable under railway track, power supply shall remain affected on March 6, 2011 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Power suplly shall remain affected in the areas fed from 33 KV Gangyal feeder and 33 KV Narbada feeder emanating from 132/33 KV Bari-Brahmana Grid Station, 11 KV Bari-Brahmana town, 11 KV Birpur complex, 11 KV Kalu Chak and 11 KV MES feeders emanating from 1x132/11 KV, 31.5 MVA and 3x10 MVA, R/ Station Bari-Brahmana-1 Area affected during the shut down shall be Birpur complex, Seora, part of Gangyal, Bari-Brahmana town including Dhainsar and Dholian and Industrial area fed from 31.5 MVA, 132/11 KV Birpur complex feeder. Meanwhile, to carry out urgent preventive maintenance work of 1x20 MVA, 132/33 KV Grid Station, Sidhra, the power supply to Sidhra, Malhori Jagir, Bajalta, Ragura, Tootan Di Khui, ASCOMS, Bahu Fort, besides the areas being fed from Janipura Grid Station as both circuits of 132 KV Sidhra-Janipura transmission shall be affected on March 6, 2011 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. To complete the work of replacement of old 132 KV MOCB with new 132 KV SF-6 breaker alongwith allied works of 132/33 KV Grid Station Bari-Brahmana-1, Jammu, the power supply to Bari-Brahmana industrial area, Narbada, Jakh, Vijaypur, Birpur Industrial Complex and Kartholi shall remain affected on March 6,2011 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. According to PDD authorities, shut down shall be subject to fair weather conditions.
