Natrang actor outshines in Bollywood blockbuster ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’

Jammu, Mar 5: Natrang director, Balwant Thakur today appreciated the performance of Natrang actor Harish Khanna for his unique performance in the film ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’ directed by super hit director Vishal Bhardwaj.
Balwant Thakur said that Harish Khanna has done proud not only to Natrang but to whole of Jammu who has made it to the multi-starrer blockbuster Bollywood movie.
Harish Khanna has played one of the important role in the film against Priyanka Kapoor as her butler and is shown planning and executing intelligently all her murder plans in the film.
Role of Harish starts from the beginning of the film and stays till end which he has performed remarkably and has demonstrated his supremacy over acting.
The top film magazine like ‘Filmfare’ has also appreciated the performance of Harish Khanna with distinction. In all the reviews about the film he is getting a special mention and appreciation which is a moment to rejoice and celebrate.
Harish started his career in Natrang, Jammu in the year 1986 with the play ‘Bawa Jitto’ and staged most of its shows throughout the country. His role in ‘Mahabhoj’ directed by Balwant Thakur brought him to the National limelight and he continued working in Natrang for five years till he got selected for National School of Drama, New Delhi.
After graduating from National School of Drama he came back to Natrang and started conducting workshop/ training actors and directed ‘Kanjoos’ with Aadil Hussain. Later he got British Council Fellowship and went to London for Post graduation in Dramatics and specialized in Acting from London School of acting and speech.
As theatre actor he has performed world over and lately joined the Bollywood and will soon be seen in a Hollywood film. He also played lead role in ‘Seven Islands and a Metro’ which won him honors and the critical acclaim all over.
Natrang Director Balwant Thakur said that his achievement will certainly aspire many young aspirants to make a name in theatre and films.
