| St. Antony’s Convent School celebrates SACS Award ceremony | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Mar 5: St. Antony’s Convent School, Vijaypur today celebrated their SACS Award ceremony to appreciate and encourage every student for their academic and co-curricular achievements.
Sheikh Bashir, the Secretary of JK Board of School Education, was the Chief Guest and Retired Rev. Dr. Peter Celestine was the Guest of Honour. The students displayed a beautiful cultural showpiece to make the day a colorful one.
The Hindi play “paseene ki kamayi” emphasized on the importance of equality in the human society and on the urgent need to eradicate poverty.
Sheikh Bashir during his address said that he was immensely impressed by the talents of the students and urged every student to take forward the same spirit throughout their life.
He appreciated the management and the staff for their tireless effort and dedication. He also honoured all the three position holders of the Secondary School Examination 2009-2010. The event was witnessed and praised far and wide by all the parents and dignitaries.
