| Centrally sponsored schemes fail to create any impact in Ramnagar: Pathania | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, March 6: Senior vice-president of J&K Pradesh Youth Congress, R S Pathania came down heavily on the local administration for failing to create any impact in implementation of centrally sponsored schemes in Ramnagar.
He said this while addressing a press conference after attending a large gathering of the people at Ramnagar. He said that most of the centrally sponsored schemes like PMGSY, UIDSSMT, RGGVY, MGNREGA, IHSDP, IAY, SSA, NRHM, NABARD and ADB- funded schemes have failed in that area
While blaming the loopholes in the planning as execution of the se schemes as the major reason of their failure, he added that most of these people who are getting benefits out of these schemes are being selected on political considerations
He further added that the compensation to the framers and the home-dwellers who have been affected due to the creation of the new roads and widening of the existing one has not been given even after the stipulated period and now it is more then 5 -10 year s that they are awaiting their compensation.
