| JRC home organises Cartoon Making Workshop | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, MAR 6: With the aim to develop cartoon making skills among the handicapped students, Jammu Red Cross (JRC) Home for Handicapped, Udhaywala organised a one-day cartoon making workshop here today. Eminent cartoonist of national fame Shekhar was the resource person of the workshop which was organised under the presidentship of Joginder Chhatrapal, Principal, Jammu Red Cross Home for Handicapped.
More than 100 cartoons were displayed by the cartoonist Shekhar during the workshop organised in the school premises. He staged demonstrations to educate the children on the skills of cartoon making. Students of the school keenly took part in the activity with great enthusiasm. During the workshop Shekhar listened patiently to various queries posed by the children and satisfied them with quite convincing answers. The workshop concluded with the vote of thanks by the staff of the school, in which the efforts of the cartoonist were highly appreciated
