Graduating kids felicitated | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Mar 6: Jodhamal School today organised a cultural function to felicitate the kids graduating from kindergarten to Primary School. Silvia Sahni, wife of the Vice Chancellor, was the Chief Guest on the occasion Jammu University. The tiny tots of the Pre-primary Section enthralled the audience with their programme which began with the spellbinding rendition of “Saraswati Vandana”. The nursery kids then bounced and frolicked to the tune of “Bum Bum Bhole, Masti mein dole”, which was followed by two patriotic and foot-tapping numbers, “Kandhon se milte hain kandhe” and “Yeh desh hai veer jawanon ka”, to which the children displayed their dancing prowess. The final “So long, Farewell”, was a fitting parting song. The little kindergarten graduates received their graduation certificates in their graduation gowns and caps, and looked very fetching and serious, read to face any challenges ahead. The Preprimary Annual Report was presented, wherein the role of Early Childhood Care and Education through experiential learning was emphasized, and the school’s ongoing efforts in meeting these requirements highlighted. The principal stressed the need and role of good parenting in a child’s all-round development, while reiterating the school’s commitment in ensuring the holistic development of the tiny tots of Pre-primary Section.
