| People hails sign CAPD, SRTC move | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATRA, Mar 6:- Residents have hailed the decision of Consumer and Public Distribution (CAPD) department and State Road Transport Corporation (SRTC) for signing the contract for supplying of ration to the far-flung areas of state.
Hailing the decision, locals Behari suri, Surinder advocate, Rajan Kumar, Madan Dogra, Brijmohan Sadhotra,Pawan Sharma told that such step will not only prove in stopping pilferage of government ration but also benefit SRTC in generating income, including smooth reaching of ration at various depots in genuine fares.
Meanwhile, the residents urged to the CAPD department to be more transparent in their ration distribution system at the depots, which can only be possible if all process is made computerized.
