Budget not upto ‘common man’s’ expectations: Dimple | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, March 7: Sunil Dimple president Jammu West Assembly Movement has alleged the budget presented by the Finance Minister Abdul Rahim Rather in the assembly has badly “ disappointed people of the state” as it has failed to come up to the expectations of the people . Even he said that no steps have been taken up in the budget to control the rising prices in the J&K state. Talking to media persons after the presentation of the Budget Sunil Dimple blamed the budget presented by the state government has nothing in it for the “Aam Adami” it is anti poor people budget, it has badly disappointed the people of the Jammu Kashmir state and no steps has been taken to control the rising prices in the state. He said that nothing has been announced for the construction of fly overs to solve the traffic problem in the winter capital Jammu city. Even he alleged that nothing has been announced for the acute sacristy of drinking water and for the “Chenab project water supply scheme” Dimple alleged in this budget there is no provision to stop the corruption in the state and to check the land mafia and the land grabbers who are under the shelter of influential. He further alleged that old age pension, pension for the widowers has not been increased. There is no increase in the subsidy for the common man and weaker sanction of the state in the budget. With this budget the richer will become more richer and the poorer will become more poorer. He warned that soon the Movement will come on the roads with protest rallies in support of our demands.
