| VOJ presents challan against Revenue Officer | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, March-07 :- Vigilance Organziation Jammu today presented challan in a trap case in which S Balbir Singh Patwari Halqa Dabbar Nowshera District Rajouri was caught red-handed while demanding and accepting Rs 7000 from the complainant for issuance of Revneue Record.
According to the complaint Ashok Kumar submitted that the accused Patwari demanded bribe Rs 10,000 for issuance of demarcation papers in favour of the complainant of his land. In the complaint, the complainant further submitted that he approached SDM Nowshera and Tehsildar Nowshera, they forward his application to concerned Patwari namely S Balbir Singh who demanded bribe Rs 10000 out of which the complainant had paid Rs 3000/- but the said Patwari refused to do any job and further demanded Rs 7000/- for doing the job. On May 6, 2010 Patwari S Balbir Singh is again demanding bribe money Rs 7000 which the complainant going to pay under compelling circumstances and seeking legal action against the Patwari. As per the complaints of the complainants case was registered and trap team was constituted and caught red-handed S Balbir Singh Patwari while accepting bribe. After completion of the investigation today SVO presented challan in the court of Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu. JNF
