Jammu, Monday 07: The Select Committee Meeting of Legislative Assembly was today held under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand.
Threadbare discussions were held on the Jammu and Kashmir Municipal Laws (second amendment) Bill, 2010. The Chairman of the Committee directed the Members of the Committee to submit their views and suggestions in this pursuit.
Legislators, M. Y. Tarigami, Mir Saif-ullah, Balwant Singh Mankotia, Er. Abdul Rashid, Aijaz Ahmed Jan and Vikar Rasool Wani besides Principal Secretary, Housing and Urban Development, Suresh Kumar, Secretary, Law G.H. Tantray and other senior concerned officers of Assembly Secretariat attended the meeting.
