| 19 Raj Rifles dedicates solar street lights to Samka village | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 7: In its continued effort to reach out and help masses the, 19 Raj Rifles under the aegis of Miran Sahib Brigade provided Solar Street Lights System to Samka village of R.S.Pura from Jammu district, here today.
The solar lights were provided under Operation Sadbhavana Project of Army Military Civic Action and were handed over to villagers by the Commandant of 19 Raj Rifles.
On the occasion, Girdari Lal (Panch) of the village has said that the army has also provided a multi purpose hall to the village, and they were glad that the installation of solar lights will facilitate to a great degree the problem of electricity and benefits not only to villagers of the samka, but also helps army to move around in the darkness.
Addressing to the villagers, Major Laxman Mani (19 Raj Rifles) urged the people to come forward and move progressively towards peace and prosperity and assured them of full support and cooperation of Raj Rifles in achieving the same.
