| VC State Advisory Board Gujjar & Bakerwal identifies land for hostel in Samba | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, MARCH 07- Vice Chairman, State Advisory Board for Development of Gujjar Bakerwal, Ch. Bashir Naaz visited Samba in connection with identification of land for construction of Gujjar & Bakerwal Hostel at Samba.
Two plots of state land situated at Shah Balode were identified by the revenue department. District Development Commissioner, Samba Mubarak Singh alongwith other district officers also accompanied the Vice Chairman to both the places. A number of respectable persons across the community including Gujjar & Bakerwal were already waiting for the Vice Chairman on the road side.
After a detailed discussion with the district administration and with the respectable persons of the area, a piece of land comprises of near about 15 kanals situated near Armed Police Complex-Shah Balode was selected for the purpose. Necessary instructions were given to the concerned authorities for construction of fencing wall forthwith.
It is pertinent to mention that Chief Minister was kind enough for releasing an amount of Rs 10 lakhs for the construction of boundary wall during the District Development Review Board meeting of District Samba. District authorities have assured that construction work of fencing wall will be started on priority.
