‘Returning to state politics soon’
Coalition government fails on all fronts, alleges Farooq

DODA NOV. 12:
Former Chief Minister and National Conference chief patron Dr. Farooq Abdullah, while lambasting the coalition government led by Ghulam Nabi Azad, for what he said, having failed on all fronts in addressing the problems of the people, alleged that the Human Rights violation in Jammu and Kashmir are on rise.
Addressing a public rally at New bus stand here today, Dr. Farooq Abdullah said that although the present government earlier led by Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and now by Azad has failed to come up to the expectations of the people of turmoil hit state and all the promises that they had been making for the betterment of the people have been proved hollow and meaningless as the un employment is rising.
Declaring that he would soon returns to the state politics soon, Dr. Farooq Abdullah claimed that National Conference would fight next election alone.
He alleged that ‘Peoples Democratic Patty who has been exploiting the people of the state on the name of resolution of Kashmir problem is now talking ‘out of box solution for Kashmir’. He said that first PDP was misguiding the people of the state by parroting self- rule and now they have started talking of a mystic solution out of box. ‘PDP leadership is talking such things which they themselves don’t know what they are talking’, the NC Patron said and added that NC has been asking the PDP time and again to explain to the people what the self- rule is and what is solution out of box.
During the tour of the District, Dr Abdullah announced grant of Rs.32 lakh for Kishtwar constituency, Rs five lakh for development of college ground at Bhaderwah and Rs.20 lakh for the development of Doda Assembly constituency from MP ‘s Local Area Development Fund.
He called upon the misguided youth to shun the path of blood- shed and join the main- stream and become the part of development and prosperity. About 10,000 people from different walks of life participated in the public gathering and shouted slogans like “National Conference Zindabad”, “Farooq Sahib Zindabad”.
National Conference District President Khalid Najeeb Suharwardy also spoke on the occasion. In the same gathering people of Doda demanded immediate construction of Doda-Kapran road, grant of Tehsil status for Bhagwah and Marmat, Hill Division status for Doda and opening of Himalayan University at Doda.
Responding to the demands Dr. Farooq that the people of the district deserved for these demands and added that the genuine demands will be fulfilled very soon.
Prominent among those who were present on this occasion included Ajay Sadhotra MLA Jammu, Mohammad Aslam Goni and party workers.
