| Dir Agri flags off team of farmers | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, MARCH 07-Farmer’s Training Center of Department of Agriculture Kashmir today deputed 30 farmers from Kashmir valley for 7 days study tour outside the State.
The farmers shall be visiting National Dairy Research Institute Karnal, National Horticulture Training Institute, Jaipur, Indian Counsel of Agriculture Research, New Delhi.
The farmers tour was flagged off by Director Agriculture Jammu, Ajay Khajuria.
The tour is escorted by Deputy Director Agriculture, Kashmir, Khurshid Qasba.
Interacting with the farmers Director Agriculture Jammu advised the farmers that they should take advantage of such Educational Tour which is being conducted by Agriculture Department and should learn various innovations, programmes and researches which are being conducted at various Universities/Institutions.
Besides they should apply new methods & technologies in their fields and propagate their fellow farmers among their villages. Farmers were very much enthusiastic for their visit to various Agriculture Institutions in the Northern India and were thankful for the Department of Agriculture, Government of J&K.
