| NYWL organizes Sports, Cultural Events | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Mar 7: Nav Yug Women Liberation Society, a non-governmental, voluntary organization in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) organized a Block Level Sports and Cultural event at Village Muthi in Block Bhalwal wherein Nisar Azad, Jammu District Coordinator of Nehru Yuva Kendra was the Chief Guest. Sarpanch, Suraj Padha was the guest of honour while as Mukesh Sharma, Muthi Development committee presided over the function. The programme started with lighting of the traditional lamp followed by the welcome address by Sneh Lata, president of NYWL.
Games like Volley Ball, Long Jump and 100 mtr. race were held in the sports category .
Muthi warrior team won the overall trophy. In the cultural event, artists of the Pooja Kala Sangam performed dance on the various songs in both solo and group dance.
Aryan Sharma of Light House Public School won the 1st position in the cultural events. A good number of villagers remained present during the occasion and refreshment was also given to all of them.
Later, Chief guest, guest of honour and president Nav Yug Women liberation distributed trophies and participation certificates to the participants.
Programme concluded with a vote of thanks from programme Coordinator of the Nav Yug Women Liberation Society.
