| LJP welcomes PM owning responsibility | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Mar 7: LJP has welcomed the owning of responsibility by the Prime minister on the appointment of a wrong person as CVC have said that this acceptance of mistake after the Supreme court verdict shows clearly that such wrong appointments have been in vogue for a long time but have gone unopposed.
This episode reveals beyond any doubt that while making selections for high posts, no consideration for integrity honesty & patriotism is given.
Mere acceptance of the mistake is not enough unless the PM takes strong initiative against other gross irregularities.
They further said that the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah should feel alarmed that if he does not initiate action against corrupt forces in the state such as the scam of Rs Sixty Crore having been utilized by the R&B department without tendering the land grab scam by the nexus of politicians bureaucrats police & land grabbers, paper-leakage scam by the J&K State Board of School Education, financial embezzlement of crores in education department in Kistwar District & so on he will have to face same humiliation as the Prime Minister has faced.
LJP also said that the MLAs & M.LCs must speak forcefully in the assembly against every irregularity that has been committed in the years gone by, with all the emphasis at their command they should ask for CBI or Judicial probes in to such irregularities.
The meeting was attended by Anil Kumar Bhagat, K.K Rao, M.R.Puri, Ramesh Lal Madan Gopal, Sanjay Kumar and others.
