Human Rights Watch takes stock of problems of unemployed youth | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 8:The Jammu and Kashmir Human Rights Watch today took a stock of the problems being faced by the unemployment youth of the State in a meeting here. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of B L Kapoor in which he said that the prolonged militancy has badly hit the carriers of the youth and graph of unemployment have increased many folds since past many years. Kapoor also said that the state government headed by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has been taking positive efforts to mitigate the unemployment. The youth may get rid of difficulties as the Prime Minister Manmohan singh has also taken serious note of this issue and granted funds for the development in the state so that the unemployed youth may be able to get the opportunities. He also said that the youth should know their rights and several people might be misled by the people with vested interests. He also stated that the efforts to uproot corruption from the state should be taken. He further appealed the people to be united and appealed the CM to give priority for eradication and curbing corruption from the state. Ends-------
