Court summons record in contempt against University

Jammu, March-08 (JNF):- In a contempt petition filed by a private educational institution situated at Reasi for not implementing the direction of State High Court, Justice JP Singh of J&K High Court Jammu Wing after hearing Advocate SS Lehar for the petitioners and Advocate WS Nargal for the Jammu University, observed that to deal with the present petition, perusal of the records including the orders passed by the Vice Chancellor of Jammu University regarding the in-take capacity of petitioner’s institution becomes necessary and directed counsel for the University to produce the record in the next date of hearing.
