| Seminar on bio-diversity conservation organised | | | Early Times Report

The Govt. Higher Secondary School, Jakh in collaboration with ministry of Environment and forest today organized a seminar on Bio-diversity conservation.
The function was inaugurated by the Principal of the institution, Vijay Bhagat. The programme was conducted in two sessions. In the first session symposium was organized. Twenty students spoke on the topic.
In the second session, a rally was taken out in the Jakh village to make public aware of the need to conserve Bio-diversity. A cleanliness drive was also organized to clean the pond of Jakh village. After these programmes, while interacting with the students and faculty members, Principal of the institution laid stress for maximum participation in such programmes to spread awareness among the public in general to keep the environment neat and clean. The programme was conducted in presence of Yogesh Dhar and Rajni, members of NGO.
