JWWS demand recovery of bungled land | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 8: A meeting of the Jeevan Nagar Welfare society was held today under the chairmanship of its President Tirath Singh Slathia. The meeting expressed grave concern over the increasing corruption in the government departments in general and the revenue Department in particular. The meeting welcomed the various statements of the Chief Minister with regards to eradication of corruption without the check on it. The meeting invited attention of the Chief Minister towards the application addressed to him regarding large scale bungling of land in Jeevan Nagar Jammu, which already is earmarked for the school building, play gound, park and community hall and has been bungled by tampering the revenue records by the Revenue department officers. The meeting in a resolution passed unanimously pointed out that unless and until the claims for eradication or corruption are not put into practice there is no hope of improvement. The meeting appealed the Chief Minister to kindly intervene in the matter and get the land handed over to the concerned department for whom the land in question has been earmarked. The meeting also submitted a reminder to the chief minister in writing. Ends----
