| Inter Collegiate Men Cricket Tournament 2006-07 | | PG Law-Science crushes minnow DC Poonch by 10 wickets | | JAMMU | NOV 12 In a magnificent display of cricketing talent, PG Law and Science crushed minnow Degree College, Poonch in a totally one sided affair by 10 wicket during the ongoing Inter Collegiate Men Cricket Tournament. Both Batsmen as well as Bowlers of DC Poonch tamely surrendered before the might of PG Law-Science as the extras score of 13 topped its innings. Earlier, DC Poonch won the toss and elected to bat first but crumbled like a pack of cards in front of the lethal bowling of PG Law-Science. DC Poonch could muster only 35 runs at the loss of all its wickets in just 14.3 overs. From PG Law-Science, Nadeem grabbed five wickets at the cost of only 13 runs in a spell of six overs. Zahid and Parvesh also captured three and two wickets respectively to derail the innings of DC Poonch. Chasing the meager target set up by DC Poonch, Batsmen of PG Law-Science made the mockery of opponents bowling attack and chased the required total in just five overs without losing any wicket. From PG Law-Science, openers Surinder and Vimarsh scored unbeaten scores of 14 each. Nadeem of PG Law-Science was declared as the man of match for rich haul of five wickets.
